The 2012 Sanlam / Business Partners Entrepreneur of the Year® competition breakfast workshop featured an address by Ulrich Joubert, an economist from Kruger International, who is also involved with the Bureau for Economic Research at the University of Stellenbosch. Joubert is a past chairman of the Johannesburg Afrikaanse Sakekamer, as well as the Economic Advisory Committee of the Afrikaanse Handelsinstituut.
